I remember how excited I would get as a kid to go drive around the neighborhoods and look at the Christmas lights on all of the homes. Or strolling down Main Street to see the street lights wrapped in garland and Christmas lights strung along the storefronts. The nostalgia will never go away. Although Christmas lights may not have the same impact on me as it did when I was 7, Christmas decor will always give me that warm and fuzzy feeling. Here are some of my favorite holiday decorations from some truly fabulous designers.
When it comes to style, this Birmingham designer knows what she's doing. Tammy Connor decorated her beautiful office for the holidays with magnolia garland and boxwood accents. She even gave my favorite Gracie wallpaper some holiday love.
It wouldn't be a post of mine without a little inspo from Mark Sikes. His Hollywood Hills home gets a facelift for the holiday, and without losing his love for all things blue white.
I stumbled across this fabulous blogger, Monika Hibbs, while browsing Pinterest one day. I love her use of black and white and the Scandinavian feel.
Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies is so effortlessly chic. I always look forward to seeing how she styles her house for the holidays, because every year it is a little bit different. I loved the year that she decorated with pops of red. It made it so sharp looking and feel so festive in a classy way.
I love a good simple garland and this one makes a huge impact. Mary McDonald's home was decorated beautifully with the perfect shade of green mixed in her blue/gray dining room.
