It’s my birthday week (yes, week long celebrations are a thing) and I’m highlighting my absolute favorite design trends that I will forever incorporate into the homes I design.
Rattan & Sisal
I mean, if you don’t know this about me now, you probably haven’t read any of my blog posts. Natural elements bring a room down to earth. They add texture. Rattan and sisal are everything!

Mid-Century Modern Flair
I have a love affair with mid-century lighting. It’s contemporary, it’s fresh and its anything but stuffy. My rooms are all about mixing traditional with contemporary and mid-century elements are just the way to do that!

Blue and White
Again, have you read any of my blog posts? My favorite color combo for a room. It’s so easy and effortless, can be both feminine and masculine and ALWAYS looks good.

Marble Anything
As much as I love a quartz countertops, NOTHING beats marble. Patina is worth it and, quite honestly, a beautiful thing. Marble is timeless.

Abstract Art
Need a few suggestions? Just ask. I LOVE abstract art. It keeps a room feeling fresh, can add color and is just so interesting to look at!

Art Deco Influence
The clean, geometric lines and bold colors just give a room interest. I love adding a touch of art deco to every room.

Bold Color
Be bold and add color. Make a statement. Stop thinking about the resale value and just have fun!

Block Print Textiles
My favorite kind of textiles! I absolutely LOVE block print textiles and probably order a few samples from different vendors every other day. I’m almost certain my husband thinks I just play with pretty fabrics all day. It is my dream to design a few fabrics with block prints someday.
