Fall Forecast

It's no secret that our fashion runway almost always determines design trends. This year won't be an exception. Put down your pumpkin spice latte and check out what I'm predicting for this fall's biggest design trends.

Jewel Tones

Jewel tones were seen all over the runway, from Miu Miu to Ralph Lauren to Christian Dior.

Glitter and Metallics

I know what you're thinking... glitter?!?!?!! You'll see this expressed more for our love of metallics and shiny things in the interiors. Think gold hardware and metallic tiles.

More Floral

We saw this flourish (pun intended) over the past year, especially in tropical palm prints. I expect the fall florals to be more 70's inspired. They'll pair perfectly with the plaid prints that are also making a big splash this fall.

Chocolate Brown

Brown is being talked about all over from paint companies to runway fashion. It will make a bold wall color or stunning accent. But don't worry all of my gray-loving friends. Black, charcoal and navy are still huge trends this year and you will see fiercely bold interiors with those cool-toned colors as well.

Velvet

This trend has already been around, but with the current love of texture, it's here to stay. You can expect to see it in deep purples (bye, Lilac), fuschia, blues and browns.
